Installing 2.5" TTI x-pipe kit into 71 Challenger, but found emergency brake cable runs right across where x-pipe wants to run. Called TTI and they said Challenger/Cuda should have brake cable running down left side and then over, not across at the cross-member and then back like on mine.

Do any other e-body owners have their cable running across at the cross-member? If you installed an x-pipe system, how did you handle it? Does anyone know of a source for the other type of cable system that runs down the side instead, or is it possible to modify mine?

Thanks for any help

The 1970 models run down the side.

On mine, a '70, the cable runs down the left side and clears a 3" X pipe with no problem. When I replaced my cable, I remember Inline tube offered two styles of replacement cables. Its possible you have the other type. A look at their website may help. Also, if you can post a pic of the setup you have that may help.
