I got an am/fm OEM radio restored and now I want to have three speakers, 4x10 front and two 6x9's in rear, how and why do I use a fader switch? Thanks

It moves the sound from the front to the back. Look at Pauls 340 post to see my fader switch mounting place on my dash..

To be period correct, you use the fader switch to balance between the left and right rear speakers and add a reverb switch to the front.
Then light one up and listen to In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida ...
