Looking for a larger set of street tires for the Demon. Currently have BFG street radials on the front end, found Hoosier Quick Time Pro's for the rear (295/50/15). They are not drag radials. Cant fit a 28" tall tire, these seem to be the widest at a hieght less than 28.

I've heard it was'nt too bright to mix and match bias ply tires and radials, but the radials had to be on the rear axle. Not a fan of mixing either set, wondering if I use the Hoosiers, what trouble (if any) am I asking for?

I think it's not good to mix Bias ply and a radial on the same axle , meaning one kind on the left , other on the right , but I don't see a huge issue with what you want to do , I'm sure there are thousands of racers running that tire combination at the track week in and week out.

Flame suit on .

not on the same axle

I ran bias M/T sportsman pro on the rear and radials on the front.

never a problem with it,handled ok for the street.

used bais multi mile tires on the front of my truck with radial buckshot mudders on the rear.

was fine on the truck as well.

I agree also.My 65 B and the kids 62 300 both run radials frt and bias rears. My 65 with the MTs rear has been to 120 at the track and is street driven.I dont try to rally race it though. Both have been driven this way for at least 8 years.Rocky
