6bblFLASH OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 3,830 N.E. Ohio	Just drove the 68` today and the oil pressure is all over the place? Usually 80.lbs. Today fluctuates from 40 to 80? Sitting still no problem,as soon as the car accelerates/slows it goes all over. " Gee must be low on oil", checked that of course right on full. Last time I drove it a week ago no problems. Has a mech. gauge,engine is low performance 383 with maybe 5,000miles on it. scratchnfotraction I Live Here S Joined: May 2003 Posts: 15,487 Florida	change the oil and filter it will go up and down with the rpm going up and down. mine when cold is 60 psi steady with low and high rpm till it warms up good. then it drops to 30 psi at idle in gear and will go up to 50-55 psi with the rpm going up to speed,drops when it comes back down. it is kinda normal for it to do that. IMO cut the old filter to see if it has any metal shavings or debrie
