Bill I had actually considered that at one point and were I still building it as a street rod I might have done it

Now that it's headed more towards a traditional 60s Hot Rod and likely to see some strip time I'm just going to eliminate it. While I was waiting on steering parts I got as far as cutting the well out. Hopefully I can get a decent looking patch in it. I really want to keep the truck all steel....but if push comes to shove there is an outfit that makes fiberblass front fenders with and without the spare well.
