I backed it out of the shop and the tranny slips like none other Im taking it back out and to the shop that rebuilt it

The trans was rebuilt by 'them'; zero miles...
Thats what I got. Hell no would I pay a penny more...IMHO
You take it back, and they charge you 5 bills to 'fix it'???
well, I had a buddy of mine that isn't exactly a tranny guy but knows his way around them enough, put it together as a favor. I would have taken it back to him, but he didn't have the time to get at it for a long while, and I dont want to take advantage of a favor from him. So I took it to this shop expecting it to be something simple like an adjustment or something of that nature, which Im sort of beleiving that was the case in the end. They lead me to beleive it was probably just a band issue or possibly valve body issues at worst and wouldn't take much to get it going being everything is new. Next time I get a tranny done, its either getting farmed out to a reputable place to start or Im going to be hitting the books and do it all myself.
