Thanks Ron. This one is just a driver.
Got it titled, registered and insured today and drove it to body shop class and back. Seems to have a top speed of ~55-65 MPH, depending on the grade.
Drove well and it was fun to drive one instead of just beat the metal.
I have a few things I'd like to do to it, but nothing major.
Install a vent in place of the plywood covering the hole, swap out the thermostat and upper hose, fix the rear spring hangers and put blocks in to keep the height, add some curtains behind the seats and in the rear, and hope to find some panel side doors. Oh, and do something with the seats. They are bolted to the outside, but just resting on the doghouse on the inside and too tall for me to drive comfortably, unless I lean waaay back!
I may end up painting it at some point, but it will be a quick , not a full resto job.
It's strange how the 108s do not have the character line behind the front doors. I may have noticed it before, but it didn't really sink in until I got this one.
