The Barton 68 Dart in the last post used to sit behind ny neighbors house with no front suspension--I bought it for $300 and sold it to the new owner for $1500--It had pieces of firewood under the upper control arms to hold it up so we could load it on the trailer. It went to Ken Kiers and came home after about $70k worth as a SS roller--that Youtube just thrills the former owner and the guys around here that helped me load it that day--not many turn out like that!
I like to think about these old cars this way--How many people have made $$ off of it--like the steel vendors to Mopar in 68--Mopar dealer, used car dealers, individual sales, chassis shops, on and on and on--don't forget all the property tax that has been paid by that ONE car--and how much gas that ONE car has burned --it is amazing what 1 car does for America in the long run---
