maybe its a different one i am thinking of. was it sponsored by koffels? i am thinking the one i remember reading about was a B1 set up. will have to look for the article.

Just as I finnished this one, Koffels came out with theirs. I was (at the time) shooting for the fastest drag P/U in the nation but they beat me to the punch(first and faster)At the time -1989- the fastest recorded drag truck was 11.30's. I guess I can try with my current truck, I dont know who or what the quickest ET p/u is any more. The new truck (see previous posts)is 2100HP at 2600lbs so she'll move pretty quick.
Oh, Koffels truck (black over Red)was in '89 trim and did wind up in Sweden
