I recently replaced the secondary bowl on my Holley 850 DP, and everything was going smoothly until I had everything back together and attempted to set the float level. The gas level seemed to be near the top of the sight window, and turning the adjusting nut seemed to have no effect. I took the bowl off to make sure that turning the adjusting nut would raise/lower the needle and seat, and that raising/lowering the needle and seat would raise/lower the float, and everything seemed OK. But when I put the bowl back on and fired up the engine, I had the same issue.
Any ideas what the issue might be? Bad needle and seat, maybe?
Thanks for any help, and happy new year.
