How many of you racers have your front disc brake rotors turn bluish after a season or two if racing. I run the stock single piston slider type (non pin type) with all new rotors and components. I notice after every track day they get more and more expaned area of bluish. Rotors were true and new pads with normal drag. All contct surfaces lubed with brake grease.

Is this normal occurrance just from the nature of slowing from 125 + speed? I dont jump on brakes. I always apply moderate pressure for a few seconds to scrub off some speed, let off a few back on slightly, etc. so i purposely dont overheat them

Anybody have perfect rotors after a season of racing or is this normal?
