A bit more info on the car that you may not know from Dave Southen;

"A few more things about the car. I remember at the time (1980) the story was
that the car was ordered and purchased new by a local veterinarian (I think
out of Owen Sound, Ontario). When I first saw the car in 1980 it had been
hot rodded as the photos clearly show.

One of the photos is at the first Mopar Nationals which took place at the
Chrysler Proving Grounds at Chelsea, Michigan in the summer of 1981.

I was offered the car in the early '80's for around $6,500 as I recall, but
as I was at school (and had sacrificed both my hemi Satellite and Superbird
to go to school) it was not to be.

We did buy some gears out of the car (5:13's or 4:88's as I recall) and I
think they ended up in a Duster race car that Bill Veens built back in the
early '80's. After the Coronet was sold in the '80's I lost track of it
until 2006 when the car was advertised for sale on eBay. The owner had
another 4 door hemi car. He was based in Las Vegas as I recall. I sent him
these photos at the time.

I'm glad to see the car restored and would love to see it again in person.
If the current owner of the car would like to contact me I think I could put
him on the right track to find out the real story about the car's early
days."
