Not really an update, but something everyone should do. I've been a tech for 20+ years, which means lifting vehicles everyday, all day. (Vipers suck the worst!) Make sure you add lift points to your ride. You will have to lift it at some point, and I've seen to many "custom" cars get fuel lines crushed, wiring pinched, paint scratched, skirts bent, etc...

This was my solution. I ran the cage through to the bottom of the pinch weld. I welded a nut and washer into the bottom of the tubing. I then made screw in "stand offs" that can be installed to lift the vehicle. This is something that never seems to be important until it comes time to lift the car and you have to monkey with wood, etc.
