Thanks Jason. Yes and no on progress. I finished that bumper and sent it to StarBright Finishes in Oregon. They ruined the bumper and kept my money. I have since built a new one and it is at a reputable chrome shop. I was so mad about that, pictures were the last thing I was thinking about when building a new one. It cost me two bumpers, a set of bumperetts, 25 hours of work, and the money to have them chrome it. Oh yeah, and another set of bumpers, bumperettes, hours, and money to chrome again.

My advice is stick with the two or three reputable platers and forget about trying to save money. In the long run it will cost you more. A lot more.

I am going to paint my bumpers, to expensive to rechrome them right now!!
