We were warned a month ago by a Moparts member. I got a price for a 1.80 straight cut powerglide gear today and told him I didn’t really need them now but wanted to jump before the price jumped. He laughed and said one company already did but I bea

With king wood and the #6 screw, I did a test first and I couldn’t pull the threads. I actually stripped the philips head in the screw. If I use a softer wood, yeah then a insert would be better. My oak grips aren’t inserted and they are 1

I was curious, so I just did the math with the numbers from this site: https://www.calculator.net/voltage-drop-...p;x=75&y=27 12A load at a distance of 55': 12awg will lose 12.5w in the wire, 10awg will lose 8w, 8awg will lose 5w.

Very nice tool. Takes a little longer to get the product done and shipped, but dramatically cuts down on customer problems. Nice to be certain, that when you perform a service for someone, that they will be happy with it.
Moparts Question and Answer
I agree, sounds like mismatched springs. I'm running a speedway axle kit on my 70 Duster. During mock up with 440 in the car shackles are equal. With springs off car the arch and length should be the same. No way to check spring rate off car.
