Put it in the side not the bottom. If and when it scrapes bottom it doesn't rip off the head of the screw or drain plug.

Thanks for the replys used a manual siphon pump hooked up one the hoses off pump to gas line then slowly pump it.gas was comin through line.then hook up the car gas hose back to started pickin up to carb.also put alittle more gas in as well.

I had my local paint supply store mix up some for me so I could paint my engine bay & roll cage and other parts. Original paint on the car was PPG & they matched it perfectly.

After seeing the cuda build where it was getting close to done then you redid a lot of it, I think you'll be doing another like this before too long Obviously it's a ton of work, but to me it's better than doing stock restos where it feels like

IMO $100-$150 for a real nice pair without any dings/dents. I believe they are the same for Plymouth & Dodge 68-70.
