Where did the 99539's end up at in the hole for you? IIRC they're blue printed to be .017 in the hole or something close??? You're right about 10:1 with the stealths?

3" exhaust will fit just fine on a B-body

I don't know. I am getting ready to drop everything off at the machine shop.
I don't have a exhaust yet. Will a 3 in. fit ok under my car.
I was advised to tell the shop to deck the block at 10.700 and use a .039 head gasket and that would put the piston at 0 deck to the block and get a .040 quench. Am I on the right track here?
Like I said this is all new to me and I am trying to understand this!!

Ok, that's why the deck is down a bit... You will quench with the .039 gaskets and I would guess-timate compression at about 10.2 then (static)... You will want a bigger cam still like the 60304 voodoo for it. Tell the shop you want it at .005 in the hole (zero deck for all practical purposes.)

3" exh. will fit fine under a B-body
