Allpar has a lot of bad info. I am not saying they are wrong on this but based on there other content I wouldn't trust it.

Less than 230 lbs.
Two average guys can easily move a 6.1 long block with ease, so it has to be less than my bare 440 block. That thing almost killed me.

see what the shipping weight is out of the mp catalog, judging by when I did my slanty/5.7 swap I believe it weighed less.

I just spent about 1 1/2 hours searching for this info and the ONLY reference I could find was 485 lbs on Allpar. That is for an 09 5.7. I would also like to know what a 440 4bbl weighs. Any one have that answer??

COOL! Looks like I will drop 200 lbs just in the motor when I get the 5.7 in my GTX!!! It was 3800 on the nose before I started the resto. I should gain another 100 lbs or so with the Alterktion so .....

I think a B engine is listed at Allpar.com
Actually, I couldn't find the weight of the 383, but just found the weight of the 2004 Hemi.
The 5.7 weighs in at 485 lbs.
