I have a set of stock B-body axles for an with brand new green bearings pressed on and 3" press in studs professionally tack welded on the back side. They measure 28 7/8" from tip to flange and are 30 spline. Splines are in excellent shape.

I have an 8 3/4 489 case B body rear end assembly (drum to drum) just removed from a 70 383-2 Charger 500. It has 2.94 gear set non limited slip. Pinion snubber in place. For sale is a rebuilt 489 center section for an 8 3/4 rearend with factory chrysler 3.55 gears. this is a NONSUREGRIP with new seals and bearings. This has not been installed since rebuilt! It is ready to go! It also has a new crush sleeve eliminator kit for removing a yoke as many times as you wanted without messing up the preload, etc.. 8 3/4 rear, with 742 housing. Believed to be a C-body or E-body, measures 61 1/2ish" from WMS to WMS. Probably a C-body though. Unsure of the gear ratio, have not taken it apart (except to get the backing plates off), but estimated 2.96:1. Complete minus brakes drums and backing plates. I may have a set of backing plates for it though. $100.00, you pick up.
742 housing with 2.76 gears, non suregrip. $50.00 plus actual shipping.

-Power lock was checked and in great working condition and is an original 1964 unit
-4.56 gears are also good condition and original 1964 cast gears.
-housing is all cleaned primed and painted chassis black with large yoke.

I have a narrowed 8 3/4 rearend housing for sale. It measures 36.125 axle flange to axle flange (where the drums set). It has ladder bar mounts on it and some bracing. Also has complete drum brakes on it. Comes with moser 30 spline axles with 3" studs. It also has the green bearings. $375 plus shipping or can meet part way within reason. Thanks, Clint pm me here
