I was working on the dart today and realized how connected this whole project is to this site. Comments with pics below. LOL and this thing started life as my first race car project......
66 dart purchased from Arizona and member. Found in the A bodies for sale section, and I need to say. Southwest desert cars are awesome. This pic is after most of the disassembly and on the rotissere. Rust Bullet on trunk and floors from Resto Rick
This is bringing it home from paint. Paint and body by HotAirBalloonPilot Member here. Undercoating and hinge rebuild by Resto Rick
Rear end with axles from Dr Diff. Zinc plating on all my nuts bolts brackets etc from Eric 3404
Heater box installed after I restored it with Gaskets from 71TA
 More random reassembly pics

Couple updated pics. Got the roll control adjustable prop valve and brake lines plumbed. 8 3/4 is installed and the car is on the ground in the back. For some reason I didn't get a pic of it. It looks like it sits high to me but it has xhd leafs on it. Trans is off to the builder. Will have a reverse manual vale body installed and upgraded to handle a little more HP. Got the engine/forward light harness restored ready to reinstall. Man this thing needs a good wash.....
Members and services helping me out:
Grille and bezels sent to Mr Belvedere for resto
Tail light housing from ad in A bodies wanted.
Low gear set from ad in Transmission wanted.
elecronic voltage reg (ebay) but from member

Where did you get the master cylinder in the pic?
It looks gold anodized? ...or is it just the camera?
Nice car BTW. Black looks awesome on just about anything!

MC came from Ehrenberg. He occasionally has them advertised on here. Not sure they are the same ones I got. I bought 2 of them a couple years ago figuring I would need them and I thought they were a decent buy with the adapter included. It does look anodized in the pic but I would say it is not. Oh and it did have the recess in piston for the rubber retainer

Current plan will be a custom offset 15" black steel wheel with drag radials. I am thinking the fronts will be something old school. radirs maybe ? haven't figured those out yet. Everything is large bolt pattern so I will have lots of options.

Yes they are Spitfires....bought 2 sets about a year and half ago......they showed up in 4 days and I sent Harold a MO. I was just honest and told him I was aware of the problems he had and that COD didn't work very well for me. He offered to ship them and when they showed up to send him payment. Smooth deal !!

Good eye on my cuda......lol......I don't have any good pics of it. But it is an all original 340 4 speed car. I bought it a few years ago from a guy who bought it to flip, so I am technically the 3rd owner It is an Iowa car so has some rust and dents but it is pretty unmolested. I drove it home and into my shop but it hasn't run in a few years. I was thinking of getting it running so I could cruise it this summer.....

Hey Corey, The Dart is at TJP's shop in Omaha. Another member here who is doing some "debugging" let's call it. With the move, I just ran out of time and have no shop. I will be bringing it to Indiana soon. Hopefully the same trip that the Coronet goes to South Dakota I will get some pics up soon.
