Hi,
I've been a fan of this body style since my father bought a 1972 Satellite Sebring brand new back in 72, I was five years old at the time. Attached is a picture of my father, myself and the Satellite.
Now I own a 72 Road Runner survivor with 38000 miles. It still has original paint, interior and drivetrain. It originally came with 14" rallye wheels, which I have, but the 15" magnums highlight the car's chrome trim a lot better in my opinion. A picture of the Runner will follow...

now here's the question.......1971 or 1972?
i like the 72's better, although the 71s were quicker, the 72s have better tail lights.

I prefer the 71's grill, taillights, and engine options, better, so, it's 71 for me. Although, I wouldn't say no to a 72.

Great thread, a lot of great looking cars on here!
Could somebody please post the one dealer ad or promo shot of the 71/72 lurking beside the building in the dark with the parking lights on? The sinister street racer looking picture?
It was on here a long time ago, and I saved it, but lost it.

I'd say I prefer painted, in most cases.

Here is a pic of my '71 Satellite Sebring Plus. Has the original 383/console/buckets. Actually the wife laid claim to it when I got it home. I figure whatever she wants she gets, that way I can get her involved in the hobby and allow me to spend more
She wants Plum Crazy. What do you think for interior/vinyl top color? Black or white? I don't remember ever seeing any purple/white '71s but I'm sure they made them.

Painted only if they're elastometric bumpers with the front eyebrow. I can't stand a plain painted front bumper!
